SWARM! BC Scene at the NGC

Tuesday 21 April from 6 to 9 pm
You are invited to celebrate a fantastic night at the Gallery with an eclectic mix of artists, curators, music and refreshments. Take a tour of exhibitions Scott McFarland: A Cultivated View and Nomads while you talk it up with curators, or enjoy DJ Jason Pelletier who will spin some great tunes as you create your own 3D paper garden. Get a taste of British Columbia with themed food and drink available for purchase. Free admission to the Gallery and all activities. Free shuttle between participating venues. 

In collaboration with the National Arts Centre, BC Scene will present 600 artists from all disciplines on the stages of the nation's capital from April 21 to May 3.

Borealis String Quartet. In the Rideau Chapel. Cost: $8.

Sunday 26 April at 2 pm
Music for a Sunday Afternoon. James Parker, piano, and Jonathan Crow, violin, with members of the National Arts Centre Orchestra. In the Auditorium. Cost: adults $29, students $14.50.

Monday 27 April at 12 noon
François Houle, clarinet. In the Rideau Chapel. Cost: $8.

Tuesday 28 April at 12 noon
Musica intima – local chamber ensemble. In the Rideau Chapel. Cost: $8.

Friday 1 May at 12 noon
Simone Osborne, soprano. In the Rideau Chapel. Cost: $8.
