Accessibility
The Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography and the National Gallery of Canada offers a variety of programs and services adapted and developed specifically for people with special needs, including physical or developmental impairments, multiple disabilities, or a mental illness. An innovative and inclusive approach encourages visitors to explore art through all their senses.
Programs
Programs are offered in both official languages during the Gallery’s regular visiting hours. They include in-gallery visits, tactile and verbal description tours, and studio workshops. Most programs are offered free of charge.

Services
All galleries and facilities are wheelchair accessible. The Auditorium and Lecture Hall have a wireless amplification system. Wheelchairs, portable FM assistive listening devices, and information in adapted formats for selected temporary exhibitions are all available, free of charge and without a reservation. Enquire at the information desks.
Sign language interpretation can be arranged with advance notice and is subject to availability. For more information, look for the accessibility symbols throughout this site, or contact the Accessibility Educator at accessibility@gallery.ca to receive a free brochure.
